Leaking gasket
Easily pulled old gasket from channel. Soaked new gasket in warm water. Cleaned debris from channel with wire brush and CLR. Starting at top-middle, gently pressed new gasket in place. Used a gentle push-pull technique on the corners. Used fingers to smooth gasket all around. Closed door and kept latched for 2 hours. Ran dishwaher to check for leaks.

leaking from door
Removed old gasket, cleaned track and replaced gasket-also quit using Cascade pellets and went back to using Cascade powder with a numerical "rating" of 6. The pellets of even 10 caused the washer to leak, obviously too much foam would not float the float to actuate the pump.

Leaking water at bottom corner
I removed the old gasket. Cleaned the surface under the old gasket and began pressing the new gasket into place. Make sure the gasket is pressed all the way in to properly seat it in the groove. Didn't use the tube of gasket sealer and it worked perfectly no leak,

Dishwasher was leaking but I couldn't determine exact cause, so I tried replacing the gasket which is common cause of leaks.
Removed old gasket, cleaned track thoroughly, then followed instructions from video on Part Select order form. Instructions very clear and precise. Getting the new gasket was a little tedious at the corners but take your time and work the gasket with your fingers as shown on the video.

The door gasket leaked water at the bottom of the door, No visible gasket damage.
I removed and reinstalled the new gasket per the video instructions, but I found the corners to be much harder to install than indicated. I finally used a large, flat, dull screwdriver to carefully push the gasket all the way in, and used my fingers to feel whether the gasket was all the way in. I figured if the gasket wasn't all the way in, I would have a leak at the bottom of the door because the top of the gasket would stick out farther than the bottom, which is exactly what the original symptoms were. Perhaps I didn't need a new gasket? There was no visible damage. Pushing in the corners of the original gasket may have fixed it, but the new gasket worked perfectly! Thanks, Part Select!!

Dishwasher door leaking
Pull the old seal out and push the new seal in. Done. Easy. The only issue is the door is still leaking and I have to replace the seal and the plate that goes across the bottom of the door.

Order both this seal and the seal for the bottom of the door at the same time.

Water is leaking from under the door; it appears to be an issue at one of the ends of the door seal gasket, but I'm not sure if it is the gasket itself, or how the bottom of door seal piece is setting. On one side the door seal looks to be sitting onto the gasket as the door is closed, on the other side it pushes the gasket end back, slightly into the dishwasher. I'm pretty certain one of these is wrong, but I can't tell which one.

Hello David, thank you for your question. The door should close on the gasket to create a seal. We hope this helps!

I ordered and replaced the PS 12348515 Gasket. I was stlil leaking about 6 oz of water from the lower rt corner. I opened and looked at the lower corners or the Inner seal and noticed that the left corner ended up, length wise at the exact end of the door opening. On the right lower side the gasket is actually about 1" or more too long so it is folded over backward at a 45 degree angle. The seal did not appear to be well seated so I did re-seat the seal. Would it make sense to trim off the excess inner gasket so it does not go past the end of the door opening, below the seal interface with the Door seal PS 11766757
For model number 66514545N710

Hi Floyd, thank you for your inquiry. According to our research, the gasket is compatible with your model, so it should fit in the place without any hesitation. We have attached a video that could help you with applying the door gasket. If the gasket still folds backwards, you can trim the excess gasket but it is not recommended. We hope this solves your problem!
