Runaway oven temp
After replacing the oven temp sensor, with no success of correction, i purchased and installed the electronic control board. After turning off the power at the breaker and unplugging the stove, I simply removed the top back cover, unclipped the wiring harness, unhooked the 5 oven element wires(writing the color and order for easier reconnection), removed the screws, carefully peeled the face plate off the old control board and re-installed everything in reverse order. Took me all of ten minutes and the oven works like new again.

Module blew out on clock timer
Needed just a screw driver, removed the top back cover and unplugged two wire sets. Four screws and the mother board was off. My only problem was the facial front ended up pulling off some of the almond color when I pulled it off, even after I used a heat gun to soften the glue. Besides that it was very easy to fix and the range works perfectly again.

Hi.I have a Frigidaire cooking range model cfef3014lwc and the oven bake element is not heating.I replaced the element with a new one but this did not solve the problem.I need your help to know which part needs to be replaced.
For model number CFEF3014LWC

Mustapha, thank you for your question. There are a few parts that could cause this issue in your appliance. First I would say test your elements with a multi meter to see if they are working correctly or not. They should be reading between 0 - 50 ohms to be working correctly. The other part you should check would be your oven temperature sensor. That can also be tested with a multi meter and should be reading between 1000 - 1100 ohms. If those three parts are fine however, then the issue may be in your control board. Good luck with your repair.

Hello Trudy, thank you for your question. Yes, the board would be the most likely issue. If the broil works, but the broil is not heating to temp and that element has been replaced, the board should be replaced. I hope this helps.

Hi Virgil, thank you for your question. Be sure to cut power to your appliance and remove any parts before doing tests. There are a couple of parts that could cause this issue specifically. You will need a multi meter to be able to test the parts. The first part you will want to check is your element. It should be reading between 0 - 50 ohms to be working correctly. The other part to check would be your infinite (or surface burner) switch. When you remove that part from the appliance, connect each probe from your multi meter to the prongs and then turn the switch to an on position. If you get no continuity then the switch is the issue. It could also be your wiring that is the issue but you should see visual damage on that part in most cases. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

My range worked fine then somehow the breaker turned off. When I turned back on error code f13 was showing. Flipped breaker back off for 30 seconds then back on then showed code f11. Flipped breaker again then went back to f 13. What could cause that and what needs to be done to fix it? Also are parts returnable?
