Do i have to replace the whole dryer timer if the knob broke off.

Hello Dennis, Thank you for the question. if the shaft broke off with the knob, then yes the timer will also need to be replaced. If the Shaft that the knob slips onto is intact then you can replace just the knob. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!
