Bottom plastic door cam on side-by-side frig worn, and door stop bracket broken.
1. Removed 2 screws on top hing.
2. Easily lifted door and place on table.
3. Removed set screw for door cam.
4. Removed stop bracket.
5. Reversed steps 4 thru 1.
When tightening top 2 screws, make sure door gap is consistent and top of frig door aligns with the top of the freezer door.
NOTE: The lady at PartSelect who helped me with my order was great. Took the time to verify my parts. Prior to this I had bought the part from a nearby appliance parts store. They sold me the wrong part, even though I showed them a picture of my model number plate b4 ordering. In the future, I will always go to PartSelect for my appliance part purchases.

My fridge door is hanging lower than the freezer door. After further investigation, i found that there is a metal bracket that the door sits on top off that has bent downward. Based on the diagram i am not certain if that part i need is part 9 or part 11 because part 11 says bracket but does not seem to look much like piece location i need. Can you share any help on this?
For model number WRS571CIDM01
Hello Russell, Thank you for the question. The order metal part would be the PartSelect # PS11773190. #9 is made of plastic. Hope this helps!

Door of the refrigerator side won't close properly like the freezer side.. the door when close has somewhat kind of resistance and tend to open or it needs to be pushed extra or harder to keep it close. i look at the bottom parts and it looks the plastic parts number 9 and 11.

Hi Henry,
Thank you for your question. If you are having issues with the door closing, then 9 and 10 would be the parts that you would have to replace. Part number 9 in the diagram is the door cam and the part number for it is PS11751037. Part number 11 in the diagram is the bracket the and the part number for it is PS11773190. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Our door has always open 'too wide'. We're going to try to fix, but don't know if we need to replace the cam, or the bracket, or both. What do you expect is needed?
For model number KRSC503ESS00
Hi William, thank you for your question! There is a metal bracket on the bottom of your door which is used as a doorstop to prevent the door from opening too far. The freezer door bracket is part number PS12704543, and the fresh food door bracket is part number PS11773190. We hope that helps!

What part do I need to fix my fridge door as when I try to adjust the screw to raise the door it drops back down.
Thanks
For model number GSS26C4XXB02
Hi Terry, thank you for getting in touch. We would recommend checking that the refrigerator is properly leveled and the screw threads are fine. If you have replaced the door cams, and the issue still persists, you may need to replace the door stop bracket, part number PS11773190, to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
