Refrigerator Air Damper Control Assembly

If the coils in the refrigerator have frosted over, there may be an issue with the defrost system. If frost has build up on the coils, this can prevent air flow from flowing through them and the refrigerator will start to heat up. Hi Kuldip, thank you for reaching out to PartSelect Canada. Based on our research, we would recommend you adjust the temperature to a warm setting as per need to settle the temperature. If the issue still exists, you will need to replace the damper, part number PS11756641. If the problem still exists the temperature sensing mechanism that is Bimetal Defrost Thermostat, part number PS11749348, is malfunctioning. Replacing it will solve the issue.
