Freezer light out and refrigerator lights dim
I was not able to unplug the refrigerator because it is housed in a built-in. I removed the icemaker and following simple instructions from YouTube was able to pry the cover off the existing part. After a few gentle tugs, I disconnected the pinned wires from the old part. Connecting the new part was a little tricky but I managed with a little contorting. As soon as the pins connected the freezer light as well as the refrig lights came on. It took about 15 minutes to complete.

The lights went very dim one day. They are LED and have 4 diodes in each light bar. Three went out for the freezer and one went out in the fridge at the same time.
I tried to replace the light in the fridge first but couldn’t get it out (that one has the control board and is very expensive) so a replaced the one in the freezer by prying it off the ceiling. When I plugged the new one in all the other lights came on full power. Strange but I sent the other one back.

LED light in freezer not working
Unplugged frig. With flat head screwdriver, removed light module and unplugged. Installed replacement module and snapped back into place. Replugged frig.
But did not work!! Repeated steps 2x, but no change.

Had been told the frig LED light was the same module as the freezer, but that is not the case. I had hoped to try the new module in the frig. So, back to square one and since I installed the new part, can't return!

Used a flat head screwdriver to pop the old light out.
Plugged the new one in and snapped it into place. Only other need is a lantern or someone to shine a flashlight over your shoulder since the old light is, presumably, out.

freezer light out...Fridge light dim
Previously replaced the Fridge light (control board).. The Fridge and Freezer lights were flickering rapidly...LIghts worked fine for four months...then the freezer light went out completely and the fridge light went dim. I unplugged the freezer light and all lights went out! Hooked it back up and ordered new freezer light. After replacing freezer light all three lights work perfectly at full intensity problem solved...For now!

Which part # do i need to replace the lights in the freezer side as well as the fridge side
For model number WRS325FDAM04
PartSelect logo
Hi Daniel, Thank you for your question. You would need two of these LEDs. In the fridge this LED goes on the bottom. This is also the same LED in your freezer. I have linked the second LED that you would need only one of. It goes on the ceiling of your fridge. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

How do you remove this part and install replacement
For model number Wrs325fdamo4
PartSelect logo
Hello John. There are clips on either side of the light module. If you take a small flat head screwdriver and release the tabs the light module will come down from the ceiling and then you can unplug the unit and replace. Please remember to unplug the unit before starting this repair. I hope this helps!

Freezer and refrigerator led lights were strobing. Installed a new controller led light unit in top of refrigerator. That stopped the strobing for a couple of weeks. Then the led lights in refrigerator side went to half power and the freezer light does not work at all.. replaced led controller unit again, but did not help the current problem of no light in freezer side and low led light in refrigerator. what do i do now?

Sometimes the lights in both the refrigerator and freezer section work and other times it flickers. What do I need to fix this problem? Put in service 9/24/14.
For model number WRS537SIAM

Hi Phil, Thank you for your question. If the lights are not working in your refrigerator, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the rocker switch, the LED light control board, the LED light and the door switch. You will need to test the parts with a multi-meter. Here is a link to one of our videos on YouTube that you may use as a general reference on how to use one, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWC44fHn0As. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day.

Hello, light of the fridge on top is dim, and the two others : Freezer and crisper (low in the fridge) are not working , so which one had to replaced , one, two, three? How to check the good ones? Why they are all connected together they are functionning in a group not individually making the diagonstic most difficult. Your help appreciated. Thanks

Hi Michel, thank you for your question. You have one LED light in each part of your fridge. So one in the freezer and then one in the fridge. If the LED light is not the issue then the issue might be in your LED light control board. Unfortunately we do not have any information on how to test these parts. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
