Start button does not light when pressed and dishwasher will not start cycle. All other buttons on control panel are working when pressed. Would this be a control panel issue or latch switch issue

Hello Mike, thank you for your question. If the only button that is not working is the start button the replacement part you would want to order is the control panel. The control panel comes in three colors. Control Panel - Black Part Number: PS11755344, or Control Panel- White Part Number: PS11755343 or Control Panel- Stainless Part Number: PS11755345. Does the whole control board have to be replaced if the start button is the only one not working? Can you provide the part number for the start button or the whole control board

Thank you for your inquiry. Try using a hair dryer on a low heat setting over the start button for a few minutes to see if you can it to work. It may be worn out. If this does not work, you will need to replace the control panel. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My dishwasher has started beeping fairly consistently. We try to hit the cancel/reset button and it stops it momentarily. Also, sometimes certain buttons work when you press them, sometimes they don't. Should i just replace the control panel?

Hello Jill, thank you for your question. The issue sounds like it may be the board the control panel plugs into or the panel itself. We would recommend opening up the door to check on the ribbon connector between the board and panel first. I hope this helps!

Does instructions come with the control board to show how to install it. This is the second time the board has went out. Had a repairmen replace it the first time.

Hi, the start button just flashes and will not start, however, the cancel cycle works. I think I should change the button control board. What do you think?

The top control touch buttons are not working properly. For example, when touching the Normal wash button, the Rinse only button lights up and nothing else. Unplugged the unit for several minutes, plugged back in, and all buttons worked for a couple weeks before the same happened again. This time, unplugging/plugging in again is not working. Do you think I need to replace the control panel?
