I need a knob but my stove is stainless. The knobs offered say white, black and then no color listed and no picture? Is this the correct knob if I need the silver/stainless knob?

I need to replace my knobs for my gas stove but I want to make sure they are actually Stainless steel and not plastic painted to look like stainless steel. What are those knobs?

Is this $29.51 for just one cheap plastic knob that was so poorly made the first time that all the silver paint peeled off? I guess I just need to buy a new stove and not one made by whirlpool or Maytag.
