Hello Cynthia, thank you for your question. This part, Control Panel - Stainless WPW10318550, is the stainless steel colored trim pieces that goes around the control panel and touch pad on the appliance. The plastic face of the unit would be the membrane switch that has the control buttons on it. Sometimes the design of the unit has the control buttons too close to the heat. Unfortunately, this does happen sometimes, but can be fixed by purchasing a new switch membrane. I hope this helps!

Hello Charles, thank you for your question. If the control panel is blank and no lights are showing or error codes, the issue is probably the board itself. If the control panel has lights, but you can't get the ovens to light, check the oven sensor, igniters and gas valve to be sure they're functioning properly. I hope this helps!
