I broke the Bake Element while cleaning the oven.
I removed the two screws that held the bake element in place. Next I removed the Bake Element. I had to unscrew the oven to go behind it because when one piece off of the element broke, it slide back behind the oven. I pushed the wire back thru the piece holes, connected the Element, and pushed the element with the wires back through the holes. I rescrewed the element in place and the oven. PartSelect helped me to save this year's Christmas.

Bake element was broken. Oven would not shut down.
I used a cordless screwdriver to remove the retaing screws. One of the connections was pucshed back too far and was almost hidden in the hole. I used the tweezers to pull it out, replace the bake lelement and the retaining screws. I'm good to go!

Over heating oven and uneven baking. Oven thought it was in self cleaning mode.
Sensor replacement was removing 2 screws and gently pulling on old sensor until the clip comes out. Secured the other end of the wires so that it did not fall back inside. Then connected the new sensor clip to the oven wire, then gently returning wire into oven, and then screwing the sensor into place.
The baking element was easier than the sensor. Removed the 2 screws holding the element into the back bottom of the oven, and pulled the element forward to disconnect from clamps. Inserted new element into clamps and screwed it in. ***NOTE that there will be a smell from the new element. This smell is normal. If the smell continues after a couple minutes stop the oven and wait an hour before reattempting.

Dryer was making a very loud squeaking sound.
I followed the instructional video provided on the PartSelect website almost entirely. A couple of things I did that weren't covered in the video:
The retaining ring that keeps the drum support roller in place did not retain its shape well after I removed it, so I took a pair of needle-nose pliers and reshaped it a bit before putting it back on. Also, after replacing the drum support roller, when I went to put the belt back on, I pulled a panel off the back of the dryer -- this gave me direct access to the idler pulley, making it much easier to loop the belt back through.

I asked a question before but did not include the #9 with the model#. The oven does get hot, however biscuits, corn bread, pizza these do not get cooked on the bottom of these items. Also it takes twice as long to fully cook fish, meat and veggies. Thank you.

Hi Rose, thank you for your question. There are a few parts that could cause this issue in your appliance. First I would say test your elements with a multi meter to see if they are working correctly or not. They should be reading between 0 - 50 ohms to be working correctly. The other part you should check would be your oven temperature sensor. That can also be tested with a multi meter and should be reading between 1000 - 1100 ohms. If those three parts are fine however, then the issue may be in your control board. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

The knob for the gas burner broke the small metal connector to the manifold. All i need is a small metal connector, the knob itself is good. Where can i buy the part? I don't know where purchased.
For model number Wfg361lvb1
PartSelect logo
Hello and thank you for writing. If the knob is ok you would have to replace the burner valve itself PS11747196 (center and left rear). The knob would fit directly on the d shaped shaft of the burner valve. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.
