washer not cycling or working on all cycles.
On my model You have to first lift the control panel in order to remove timer knob.I removed control panel by prying on the ends of panel one at a time with putty knife and rag to keep from scratching washer. I then use needle nose pliers to pull plastic under side of knob while pulling on knob which is the trickiest part of the job as knob will not come of til it is pulled from underside with needle nose pliers to release it then its easy from that point to disconnect wires and slide timer to the left to unlock it and in stall new timer.You have to take your time doing the repair and it will work out better for you.After replacing timer machine works on all cycles and completes entire cycle. The washer fills quickly and works well until after the first spin cycle, but does not pass the first spin and progress to the rinse cycle. The rinse water will fill, but is extraordinarily slow - (it just trickles in) - filling for the rinse cycle. This can be repeated on each different wash cycle, i.E, permanent press or delicate. Will a new timer solve this problem?

Thank you for your question. If the timer is not advancing I would first check the lid switch before replacing the timer. If the lid switch is not working correctly this can cause issues throughout the washer including the timer not advancing. If the lid switch is fine, you will need to need to replace the timer. It will fill up with water just like it's suppose to on all 3 levels. But after the water cuts off that's it. No matter which cycle you put it on it want do anything. It want spin it want pump the water out want do anything. Would that be the timer switch or what

The lid switch plug burnt the hot wire so I jump the plug to the wire going to the controls the washer fill with water but doesn't go further in the cycle and the timer doesn't make noise reset motor or the timer but can't reset motor with lid. What is my move ? Thanks Richard

After the wash cycle, the washer spins but then does not fill at all for the rinse cycle. In addition, it only fills with hot water. This all happened at the same time. I think I need a new timer. Does this also control the water temp control unit?

Hello Bill, Thank you for the question. The Water Temperature is controlled by a separate Temperature Switch. We suggest testing the Cold Water Side of the Water Inlet Valve. Set your multitester to the R X 1 ohms setting to test for continuity. Place each of the multitester's leads on a terminal. Your multitester should display a reading between 200 and 500 ohms. Closely examine your water inlet valve. The exact ohm resistance rating you should test for may be marked on the valve. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
Hello, the washer only reacts to the rinse setting. It will not start the normal washing cycle or respond at all when placed on the normal start wash settings. Could this be the timer?

randomly stops during any cycle. Will continue if knob is turned toward next cycle -sounds like the control timer, but why would it work if manually rotated?

would it be the timer or something else that makes a buzzing noise? It sounds like it comes from the wash selection dial. It stops buzzing when I open the lid or turn the washer off. The washer works fine, it just buzzes.
