Rf Element Would Not Heat
We installed a new infinite burner switch and the right front element still did not heat. We called a local appliance repair service. They ordered a new rf element and three days later came to our house and fixed the problem in 30 minutes. Cost for the repair service and new element $267. Cost for the infinite burner switch $98 plus $7 shipping. Total cost: $372. I'm not a big fan of do-it-yourself repairs, but my husband is always trying to save a nickle. In this case we lost time and money, but we have an extra infinite burner switch on hand "just in case. "

Large Burner of large/small burner would not stay on, but switch to the small burner.
Remove the burner knobs. Remove front cover/access panel at base of range. Detach vent fan duct from the fan. Unplug range and slide out entire range from the counter about an inch. Remove the four nuts from the bottom of the oven control panel. Remove the two screws on either side of the oven control panel, have a second person available to hold on to the control panel as you remove the last screw. While second person is holding the control panel, remove the two screws holding the infinite switch into the control panel. Take a picture or note exact orientation of infinite switch in control panel. Mine had an ABCD orientation, with A to the left B on top. Take a picture or note exact orientation of two sets of wires going into the infinite switch. Unplug the two sets of wires from the infinite switch. Replug the two sets of wires into the new infinite switch. Reverse all steps. Enjoy!

The right front element on our Jenn-Air range is a custom control dual element. Both the large and small diameter parts of the element work with the switch, but the switch is getting wonky--e.G.,when turning the heat up with just the small element, we've got to be very careful or else the full large element heats up. The part number printed on the switch for this element is 8507p369-60. Do you have a replacement for this.
For model number JES9900BAB
Hello Bob, Thank you for contacting us. I have researched the model you have provided and have found the part you are looking for is PartSelect Number PS11749818. Hope this helps!

The front left burner rings are behaving erratic. That means, sometimes both rings will come on, but if i turn down the heat one will turn off. Or only the small or only the large burner ring will turn on, although i am using the know to turn both burner rings on. If i turn the know a few times on and off, i can mostly manage to turn both burner rings on. I am assuming that i need a new switch for this burner element. Could you confirm that?
For model number JES8850BAS
Hello Gabriele, thank you for your question. Yes, to fix that issue you would want to replace the infinite switch for that burner to fix that issue. I hope this helps!

After the right front burner is turned off and the burner has cooled down, something behind the dial will click (sounds similar to a solenoid click), then the burner heats up. Is this due to a bad switch or something else? If it's a switch, would the part number be: Ps2003582 ?
For model number Jenn Air Electic Smoothtop #JES9900BAS
Hello Dan, thank you for inquiring. It is most likely this Infinite Burner Switch, part number PS11749818 for your model. You may also want to consider the Electronic Clock Oven Control, part number PS11745985. Good luck with your repair!

Turn on front right double burner on hi and cycles off after about 15 seconds. Same thing happens when only using the single burner. Would this be the control switch? Element seems fine
For model number JES9900BAS
Hello Michael, Thank you for the question. Since the element still powers on, this sounds more like an issue with the Burner Switch. Hope this helps!

The out heating element of a dual element burning is not heating. Does the dual element need to be changed out or would there be an alternate cause for this?
For model number JES9900BAF
Good Day Clayton. Thank you for your question in regards to your unit (Model Number JES9900BAF). You may need to change the dual element, but it may also be that you have to replace the Infinite Switch or the control knob. We hope this helps! Best Regards.

My Right front dual element burner # W10823724 is not working on my Jenn-Air range JES9900BCS. The burner elements have continuity with 28O and 38O so it seems good. How do you test the Element Control Switch # WPW10185286 to see if thats defective? Thanks
For model number JESS9900BCS
Hello Aaron, Thank you for the question. When you remove that part from the appliance, connect each probe from your multi meter to the prongs and then turn the switch to an on position. If you get no continuity then the switch is the issue. We hope this helps!
