I removed the knobs to clean. They were unusually difficult to remove. Now, I can’t get them to “push” back into place. I put the on, but they aren’t “seated” into place securely. They spin around and fall off. What is going wrong? How can I get them to fit properly?

Hello Kathy, thank you for your question. It sounds like the clips inside the knob were broken. We would suggest replacing the knob. Part number (Black) PS11747469, (White) PS11747470. We hope this helps.

What is the part number for the d shaped shaft that the knob inserts over?
