My oven is not heating in the normal time not get to the temperature keyed in. It does not sound like the striker igniter is engaging the same as when it worked fine. Does that sound like the igniter or another part?

This spark igniter does it have 2 roles. 1st igniter and 2nd a Flame sensor. My burner will light, igniter keeps sparking and then burner shuts off. And this happens after oven is heated

When i initially attempt to turn my oven on, i can hear the igniter clicking, i smell a bit of gas but then it doesn't light. The broiler and top burners all work. I manually use a lighter to light the oven burner in order to turn it on. Once the oven is lit by me, it works fine and the temperature is maintained.

Hi Patricia, Thank you for your question. If your gas igniter glows but does not light, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check both the broil and bake igniters, the gas valve assembly and the spark module. We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair!

my issue is with the oven .... When I turn it on I can here 1 click .... I never hear the igniter (where as before I would hear it) and then another click ... No smell of gas at all . The top burners work no issue . As far as the broiler ... Nothing happens ...no igniter either clicking. Top element does function .

Hello, is there a connection between the stove top ignitors and oven ignitors? All four of my stove top burners do not click when i turn the knob to lite. Also, my oven ignitors ( broil and bake ) do not turn on so my stove never gets to temp. I thought it could be the spark module but that does not effect the oven? They all stopped working at the same time. Thanks in advance for all the help. Mike

Hi. My top burners are working fine. The problem is in the oven. When i turn bake i hear the clicking sound of the lighter and smell a bit of gas but no Flame or heat. Same with the broil mode. Would i have to change both igniters? Thank you very much.
