I'm not certain which burner control switch for this cooktop is the correct one. This is for a jennair. Serial number is 11219170ys. This is for the right front burner (dual). What is the series? Can you give me the correct part number? The old part number on the old switch is tudp 411 part no. 2009050/7403p(3)405-60. I can't find a cross reference to this number.

The light on the back burner switch stays on, when you turn the switch it makes a little clicking noise and the burner does not get hot. We had a pot over flow then that's when the light stayed on.

Thank you for your question. I would suggest you check your burner and your burner switch to see which one is not working correctly. You would be able to test both of those parts with a multi meter to check if they are working or not. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

A single burner on my Jenn-Air ceramic downdraft cooktop always stays on no matter what the setting is on the control. My wife head a "pop" like sound the other day when using it. Does this sound like a switch issue?

There are two large areas on my cooktop -one is a dual size burner. When these units are turned on, both stay on high no matter what temp i turn the dial to. Could this be defective surface burner switches? Would i replace them with dual burner part #12002125 and single burner part #wp74011242 ?

Does the surface burner switch work for any burner except dual burner? And what if the indicator light flickers and burner doesn't "always" heat up consistently . . Does replacement of surface burner correct that problem?

Thank you for your question. That would be correct. If it is just the indicator light that is flickering I would suggest maybe checking that part on your appliance. Trying to replace a burner control knob (wp74011242). Have the unit sitting over the cut out in the counter top but unsure how many screws i should remove to separate the glass from the base. Unit has 10 screws on first level under the glass, three (on each side) a level down, then two (on each side) closest to the bottom of the pan. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
