F1-8 code beeping keypad 6-0 inop
Remove part from box and inspect. Place new part on bubble wrap. Notice only the ribbon cable and key pad come with new part.
Leave room to work.
Turn off circuit breaker and verify power is OFF.
Remove knobs and loosen the two screws for each switch.
Open oven door and place a rack at the highest level. Place a thick phone book on the rack and place a thick folded towel on top of it. This is to act as a protected table when removing and installing the new part.
Remove philips head screws from end covers and from angle bracket and stove. Leave screw nuts and angle bracket attached to old part for now.
Remove old part from stove by lifting up slightly then place on protected rack.
Slide lamp housing from red plastic lens and remove and store the red plastic lens for reuse.
Remove ribbon cable from circuit board. Remove fasheners from circuit board. Remove switches.
Remove old part and remove mounting bracket.
Re-install mounting bracket on new part and reinstall components in reverse order.
Verify that all connections are intact before mounting assembly to stove.

The oven would not come on, and neither would the vent fan
This job will definitely go smoother with someone helping. You have to remove front control pad and replace with new control pad. The new front control panel does not contain the control board or switches. The control board screws off old panel, the tape has to be unfastened, and the lights for oventop switches have to be removed and reinstalled into the new control panel. The lights switches just slide to side. Once you have slid them off you can pop out the lens to be installed in new control panel. The tape on new control panel is slid back into control board and snapped back into place. Then screw control board onto new control pad and reinstall to front of oven.

Is this just a face plate or does it come with the wiring and plug in's behind the panel?

Hello Larry, thank you for your question. The part number Control Panel with Touchpad WP74005747 is just the face plate, or control panel selection buttons. This part comes with a ribbon connector that attaches to the electronic control board that sits behind this panel. I hope this helps!

My keypad numbers do not all work, numbers 7 through 0. Would the front cover panel you have replace the keypad? The oven itself works well,l so I believe the circuit board works fine and does not need replacement. Thanks.

I believe the part number wp74005747 shown is only the front metal cover and not the controls for the push buttons. Is this correct?

I have a Jenn-Air stove. When we use the oven and use timer, it starts beeping before timer goes off and want stop. Do we need control panel with the touch pad?

Hello Wannetta, Thank you for your inquiry. I would also check the temperature sensor and high limit thermostat as well as the control board takes readings from these to measure the amount of heat and how long it should be on. You can test those two parts with a multimeter. If they both have continuity, then replace the control board. Hope this helps!

Hello. Five control buttons do not work /no response. Convect, rapid pre-heat, setup off/on, clean, more options. I have replaced the oven sensor ps1570174. Also cycled power off for five minutes. No help. Should i order a terminal block ps11750972? All other buttons on the touch pad work fine /responding correctly. Thanks.

What does the f-1 error code mean on on range.
