Turn off power to oven. open top oven door and remove the four screws holding the display unit in place. Pull out on the bottom and lift up. Disconnect the wires and lay unit on counter.
Remove the four screws holding the clock display and replace with new part. Reassmble. Ahhh lights. Pray that you new unit doesn't burn out in four years. The end.

First, I turned off the circuit breaker to the double over.
Second, I opened the oven door. At the top of the frame, underneath the panel are four screws (not evenly spaced) that I removed. I held onto the glass control panel, not wanting it to come down when I removed the screws, but this was unnecessary as there is a ridge in the back to keep it in place.
Third, I lifted out the glass control panel. There are two sets of wires going from the oven to the control panel. One set of wire connects in two places (three connections in total).
Fourth, I simply disconnected these wires from the chips (lifting them off), trivial. They all have different connectors, so there is no chance of getting them mixed up. If you have never touched any new electronics and are completely unfamiliar with plugging wires on a chip, you may take note of the orientations of the connectors), but it is fairly dummy-proof.
Fifth, there are four screws holding the display in place. Used the socket wrench for these (they go through the holes you see on the side of the unit in the picture).
Sixth, reversed the last operation, screwing the new display in place on the removed panel.
Seventh, Some of the teeth on the connector of my new display were bent over. I bent these straight so the connector would go over them, and reconnected the wires, carefully(!)
Eighth, slipped the glass panel in place. When seated properly, it does not shift.
Ninth, secured panel with the four initial screws.
Tenth, turned on the circuit breaker.
Eleventh, was shocked by how bright the new LED was!

I removed two screws to take the control panel off.
The electronic display is held in place with four screws which are easily removed with a nut driver.
The wiring work is extremely simple.
To replace the element, I removed the oven racks, took two screws out, disconnected the two wires, then replaced the element by reversing the process.
Both jobs took less than 20 minutes and that includes two trips to the breaker box in the basement.

First, I searched ythe partselect.com web site for "Dim over display for Jenn-Air double over" and found an answer to some one with the exact same model as me. The answer said to order the "clock assembly" and all would be solved.

So, I ordered the assembly, it arrived. First thing I did was turn off the circut breaker for the over! I removed 4 screws holding the oven display in place. With those 4 screws removed, I was able to remove the clock assembly with 4 more screws and 3 cable connecters.

Put the new assembly in place, hooked up the connectors and turned the circut breaker back on. Everything was done and working within 15 minutes! Could not have been easier, it's great to have the display back again, we can now tell the oven temp, how much time is left on the timer, etc!

Turned off power to range - Removed the 4 screws holding the glass assembly in (front glass touch panel on range). and lifted up to expose wiring and electrical components. Pulled off all electrical plugs (4) and detached clock component from assembly by unscrewing 4 screws. Replaced new assembly, secured with 4 screws, plugged in all 4 plugs - turned circuit breaker on to restore power - WaLah!! That SIMPLE!

Turned breaker off at circuit panel.Opened top oven door. Removed 4 srews to lift up panel. Removed 4 hex head screws which held clock assembly in place. Unplugged 3 wiring connections. Plugged in new part and screwed back into place. Returned panel wih 4 screws. Switched breaker back on and smiled because it worked!!

Soooooooo easy- I am a house wife and did it- turned off power and unscrewed 4 screws and then a couple more and unplugged wires then replugged to new piece/part then screwed all screwss back in- EASY- woulda cost 400 for parts and labor

Four hands made it easier
1- removed 4 screws
2- had friend hold the whole assembly
3- removed the 2 screws holding clock assembly
4- removed the electronic connections
5- installed the new assembly with 2 scews
6- connected the electronic connections
7- reattached the with the 4 screws.

The extra pair of hands to hold it was helpful. This repair was very easy. It took less than 30 minutes and I saved $300 in repair costs.

Turned off power,
Removed screws holding panel on,
Lifted off panel,
Unplugged wiring,
Removed 4 nuts holding clock assembly,
Replaced assembly with new one and secured with the 4 nuts,
Plugged in wiring,
Installed panel and screws
Turned on power,
Finished in less than 15 minutes.
Owner was all smiles and very happy!

This is the simplest repair in the world! A lot of money for the part but worth every penny! Looks like a new oven. Far better than spending $4000.00 on a new double oven
