Dryer running but not heating
Popped open rear access panel and logged on to website. Performed search for "dryer not heating" and came across helpful tips and ordered all components pertaining to heating system and removed and replaced them. Working better than better and saved myself hundreds of dollars. Highly recommend for those "do it yourselfers"!

Dryer does not heat
After much grief and finding out that to replace my existing washer/dryer unit would cost about $ 1200, I was doing some research and found Partselect. I replaced two
thermostats and the thermal fuse in the dryer and now it works better than even before it went bad !. Turned out that I did not need the element, but I'm keeping it anyways in case I do at some point in the future.

dryer ran, but no heat at all.
I removed the hex screws from the fuse, unhooked the wire contacts and replaced with new fuse. I then plugged in the dryer and tried it. It worked!!
I then went on to unplug appliance again, replace the thermostats (while I had the back open and in case bad thermostats could have lead to fuse going bad)... roughly the same process as fuse. We've been enjoying dry warm clothes ever since, and I'm sure that it is running more consistently than it had been for the past several months. I am a repair GOD.

Dryer not heating
After searching on here, I decided to just replace the 3-components listed on this site (not the heating element wire kit). I didn't test the heating element and would save that for last if the replacement parts didn't work. Off the bat the fuse was the problem - no resistence reading on my $6 multimeter like the new one. I didn't bother testing the other components. Since I wasn't sure why the fuse blew I decided to replace the Cycling and High Limit Thermostat at the same time to be safe. It took me longer to move the unit to access the back panel and take off the dozen or so screws then it did to replace the 3 components. The cost of the parts with shipping was less than the trip and diagnostic charge from an appliance repairman.

Dryer is heating --- but seems to always be on high temp, does not regulate dryer temperature with the setting --- it's either no heat or high temp, it seems --- what part would this be?

Hi Ray, thank you for your question. Looking at your model information there are a few parts that you should take out and test to see which one is giving you the issue. The first parts to check in this case would be all of your thermostats and thermal fuses. You can test those parts with a multi meter and they should be reading 0 ohms to be working correctly. If those parts are fine, you should then go on to testing your heating element as well. You can also test that with a multi meter and it should be reading between 0 - 50 ohms. Something else you should also check would be your filter and ducts. Make sure there is absolutely no blockage that would restrict air flow in your appliance. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
