Top part of agitator was not locking in and turning
Remove top "cap" on agitator to expose the bolt that holds the agitator to the drum shaft. Undo the bolt and pull out the agitator. Disassemble, toss the old parts and install the new parts in reverse order. Repair took less than 5 minutes and we can now do full loads of laundry again!
The dispenser ring was loose due to the broken plastic dispenser. Replacement was too easy. Removed the old, and snapped the new one in place. Took all of 1 minute. Now I'm back up and running

Despenser fell into drum an cracked,ther after it would not stay on the agitator
Actually I had been out shopping , came home, and my husband suprised me by having it done.
The ease and quickness that we esperienced in ordering and recieving the part was quite remarkable.
We use all Sears appliances and they are all about 15 yrs old and still in very good service,
Other than the despenser... we had no other operational problems.

Missing Fabric Solfener Dispenser & Chipped paint
Popped dispenser in place & touched up chipped areas
I ordered the dispenser and it arrived within 24 hours. Amazing. It simply snaps onto the top of the agitator. Push the blue lock ring down to lock it in place and you are done. It works perfectly.1

replacing a fabric softener dispenser
A snap! I slipped the dispenser on the agitator, pressed the aqua ring down and it was installed.

Agitaor not functioning everything good.
Used a hand truck to lay washer on its side removed motor assembly and hoses,unplugged all wiring harness assembly. Using small hammer positioned new couplings on transmission and motor flush to end of shaft. Applied new insert on transmission coupling and positioned motor applied mount straps and screws. Reconnect wiring harness assemblies set upright and dry run cycle. Everything good washed 3 loads very happy no laundry mat visit.
I pushed up the blue ring on the old dispenser and then it pulled right off. I popped on the new one and pushed down the blue ring. Took me about 20 seconds. Voila! It worked! Cheapest and fastest repair you could imagine.

Hello. I need to know where to put the fabric softener in the washing machine

Hi Mayra, Thank you for the question. The fabric softener goes into the fabric softener dispenser at the top of the agitator. If you do not currently have the dispenser you can order PartSelect Number PS11743341 and use it on your agitator. Hope this helps!
