Sorry, we couldn't find any existing installation instruction that matched.
The coils would freeze up and it wouldn't cool.
I removed the screws on the covers and remove them, then taken the screws from the timer, the temperature control just set in there, then pulled out a lttle ways and disconnected the wires and then removed. Installed the new ones. I taken the back panel off and removed the clip and pulled the defrost heater out a ways and removed the wires and removed the defrost heater. Installed the new defrost heater and clip and the covers.

Constant running, ice build-up in evaporator, fridge side warm
Simple parts replacement. The temp control was a bit tricky as it involved replicating the bends of the tiny tubing for the sensor coil, but everything is so modular that it was not that difficult.

Freezer defrosted while doing the control repairs, it had a lot of ice stuck in the evaporator because the defrost function was not working.

The worst part of all this was moving the food and making sure it did not spoil.

Hi Allen, Thank you for the question. Very sorry but we do not have a video as of yet for this part. You will need to removed the screws on the cover to release the cover, the temperature control is just set in there, pulled it up a little ways and disconnected the wires and then removed. Then reverse the steps. Hope this helps!

I’ve asked a number of questions on this situation already, but i’m still having an issue. My fridge runs the majority of the day and night. when it does turn off its for a less than an hour before it starts up again. freezer side keeping food frozen, fridge side keeping food cold. i did notice that the condenser fan was not running, unless i gave it a push and it started to run. needed to do that each time the unit turned off and back on. i replaced that fan motor today. prior to that i replaced the run capacitor. i opened up the evaporator coil and fan compartment and that fan was running fine. no ice build up on evaporator...a very little at the bottom, but definitely did not have that iced over look. could it be the temp control thermostat? the compressor only turns off if i move the freezer temp control arm all the way to 0. moving the fridge control arm all the way to 0 does not turn off the compressor, but it wouldn’t because of the type of system, as that part is controlled by that damper door.....right? all suggestions are welcome. thank you all.

Hi Darren, thank you for your question. It does sound like you have really checked all of the things that cause this issue most of the time. At this point the only part that you would have to check would be this temperature control. If the problem still persists after that I would suggest getting a technician to come in and look at your appliance. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
