Unplugged power cord from the wall outlet
I removed the back cover using a 1/4 nut driver. Removed the two wires, one went to the starter driver the other to the overload protection. Unplugged the part from the compressor.Plugged in new part and re-attached the two wires replaced cover and plugged in power back in to the wall outlet

Smelled Electrical Burning / Smoke
Removed cardboard back from refrig. Found source of smell/burn. Removed part. Ordered several replacement parts as the diagram was not clear as to which part would be needed. New parts arrived, matched with old. Cleaned carbon from contacts, installed new part. Cleaned dust from refrigeration coils, installed back. Returned unused parts.

Refridgerator do not get cold
Disconnect the power, removed the back panel, plastic cover and the relays. Replaced new parts, reattached the back panel and reconnected the power. The hardest part was to remove the plastic cover, it was locked on so tight,I had to use a putty knife to separate the cover from the compressor.

Evaporator was clogged from no cleaning since new
I heard the compressor running, it was very hot. I looked on the internet for that model and found where the overload was an answer for compressor not running. First order was from a different source and I was sent the wrong overload for this frig. I ordered from Partselect.com and was provided with phone support and was sent correct overload. If I would have received the correct overload first, the time to repair would have been a 1/3 of the time. Thanks Partsselect.com.

What parts fail cause warm frig and freezer
For model number 10650562991
Hi Chris,
Thank you for your question. If the refrigerator and freezer are too warm, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the thermostat assembly, the bi-metal defrost thermostat and the defrost timer. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

The fridge/freezer gets cold and eventually stops running. The compressor won't kick back on unless i turn the temperature control (on the inside of the fridge) to "off" and then back "on". I am thinking it may be the starter relay??
For model number ED25tqx6w00
Hello Matt, thank you for inquiring. It does sound like either the Start Relay part PS11770133 or this Overload and Relay Assembly part PS11742477 for your model. We hope this helps.

Unit started "clicking" last night and this morning I noticed that the food in the freezer was beginning to defrost, and the the fresh food isn't as cold as it should be. What do you think? Thank you!
For model number ED25RFXFW01
hello Michael, Thank you for the question. Normally the clicking would come from a defective Compressor Start Device Kit,PartSelect Number PS991485. This kit includes the Relay, Overload and cover. The start relay briefly boosts the compressor, and then shuts off as soon as the motor gets up to speed and the Overload provides added protection for the compressor motor because, in addition to protecting against excessive current, it also protects against excessive temperature use. We hope this helps.

MY ICE MAKER IS ONLY GETTING 109 VOLTS AND NOT RUNNING...
TESTED @ (L) AND (N) TERMINALS WITH METER
For model number GD5SHALT02
Hi David, thank you for reaching out. We have researched the model and would suggest checking the emitter and receiver boards, part number PS10064583. These boards control the functions of the ice maker. Checking the wirings and the boards for continuity using a multimeter might help. Good luck with the repair!

The unit was working perfectly after relocating it. Came home and there was water coming out underneath. The unit appears to have trip a circuit breaker as the receptical has power, but when you open the doors. The lights are off and it is shut down?
For model number Ed22DQXAN00
Hi Dennis, thank you for your question. It sounds like your electronic control board may have to be replaced however I would suggest giving a quick test to the run capacitor and start relay on your compressor. Just to make sure those parts are still working. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
