In testing the moisture sensor wiring harness (part number ps11741707) with a multimeter, what should the values be or is it simply continuity?

Testing wire harness, moisture sensor. 3406653. Getting no resistance reading across the outermost contacts. Would this indicate a faulty sensor?
For model number GEW9250PWO
PartSelect logo
Hello Joe, thank you for the question. If you are testing a wire harness moisture sensor and you are getting no resistance reading across the outermost contacts, it could indeed indicate a faulty wire harness moisture sensor. The moisture sensor typically works by measuring the electrical resistance across its contacts, which changes based on the presence of moisture. If you are not getting any resistance reading, it could mean that the sensor is not detecting moisture properly. We hope this information helps!

Dryer does not tumble. I opened it and pressed the door switch, turned it on and with my hand helped the drum to turn, then it continuously turns until the door switch is turned off.
For model number GGW9200LW1

Hi Joe, Thank you for your question. If the dryer is not tumbling, then there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the drive belt, the idler pulley, the thermal fuse, the rollers and the drive motor. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
