Door panels and trim damaged by power wheelchair
I removed the four screws, two at the bottom and two at the top, of the lower access panel and removed the broken assembly. I removed the piece of rubber trim from the bottom of the door panel (unsnaps from it's channel). I pried off the damaged bright trim from the left side of the door, scraping off most of the glue residue with a knife and finally cleaning the rest with solvent. I cut the new piece of bright trim to fit with siscors and pressed it in place. I used the remainder of the new trim and a piece cut from the old damaged trim previously removed to trim the lower access panel. I carefully removed the insulation from the old access panel and installed it in the new access panel with double sided tape. I followed the instructions that came with the new panels and installed them in the door and access panels. I reinstalled the rubber trim in the bottom chanel of the door. I moved the other parts from the old access panel to the new access panel and reinstalled the new access panel assembly with the four screws removed earlier. Finished...
I found other sites with the parts but ordered from PartSelect because your site made it easier to identify and select the right parts to order. My order shipped very quickly and everything arrived perfectly. I'm impressed. Thank you...

These access panels are just plastic. My son's big 10 foot stepped into it and busted the holder for the screw. This was the 2nd time we had to replace this part in 4 yrs. I was very glad to find it again.
The easiest way to change this out is to remove the access panel(like the one you purchased) and the metal brace that supports it to the bottom metal access panel. To do this, REMOVE the screws in between the door and access panel. Step 2: LOOSEN screws that connect the metal braces together. You do not need to remove them completely as the middle brace slides up. You should now have the panel and brace together in your hands. Step 3: Using a flat screw driver pry (and I mean pry!) the retainers out of the catch. At this point breaking the old plastic is a better option than bending the metal! Once removed, your ready to swap out the front cover of the panels and put'er back!! Good Luck!

The access panel below the dishwasher had broken loose from the upper screws.
The panel was removed by removing the lower screws and lifting the panel out. The old panel had a wood insert to match the cabinets in the kitchen. I removed the upper plastic piece holding the wood in place and slipped it out. I inserted this into the new access panel and attached the upper plastic piece to hold it in place. I detached the metal vent piece from the bottom of the old access panel and snapped it into the new panel. I then slipped the metal vent over the lower screws and tightened them. Finally I inserted the upper screws and tightened the panel into place. It took less time than I expected and only required a nut driver and a screwdriver.

Broken front access panel
Unscrewed old access panel from dishwasher. Took out insulation and glued to new access panel. Took off bottom panel and placed on new front access panel. New panel fit perfectly on front of dishwasher. Hard part was getting the bottom panel to stay on new front access panel, but hammered it in place protecting the new access panel with Styrofoam cushion. Took about 45 minutes from start to finish. Used DW-40 around screw holes, because of age of dishwasher and rust setting up over years (22 years old).

The corners of the panel were the screws hold the cover onto the appliance had broken.
When the new part arrived I had to swap over the bottom metal plate that secures the bottom of the cover and also had to swap over the decorative front plate and top edge. The part worked wonderfully the job was very easy. The only thing I forgot to check on was the color of the part. I needed white and I ordered black, but that also was no big deal as the covers from the old part was white and covered it up. I will be using Partselect in the future and would recommend them to friends.
