Cold water flow was slow
Removed old part; exchanged rubber plungers between the hot and cold. Symptoms still the same - so eliminated the need for new rubber plungers (even though they still needed to be replaced). The only item left were the magnetic switches opening and closing the flows. The syphon was replaced due to broken plastic mountings causing the syphon to hang into the drum. Repair was a snap and finding the parts on your site was very easy and parts were there within 2 days at standard shipping. Thank you.

Broken water inlet syphon combined with missing feet was causing water to spill out of the washer
I removed the back of the washer, removed the old water inlet syphon, replaced it with the new one, and, with some difficulty, replaced the back of the washer, reattaching all of the parts to it.

water inlet siphon leaking , broken tub counterweight spring
went really good, received both parts in less than two days, great service! Video's on line were really helpful and made taking apart and putting back together easier, even though video's were on newer model machines. Would not hesitate to order parts from Part Select again.

Water drips in washer, takes long time to fill up. Do i need a new inlet valve? i put new screens in back where hoses go....there was sediment in them. but water still runs in washer slow, no steady flow of water?
For model number LSQ9010PW3

Hi Carolyn, Thank you for your question. I would suggest checking your water inlet valve first. It does sound like that part may need to be replaced. You may also want to check your water level switch as well. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Hi. I am having a problem with water leaking from the water inlet siphon when the washing machine is not in use. The water drips into the tub. The siphon appears to be loose to some degree and the leaking occurs intermittently. A few days ago it filled half the tub with water and I spun it out. Right now, there is no water coming out. I've set the dial in different positions when it was leaking and it didn't make any difference...the water still leak when the machine was off. I'm not sure which part is required to fix the machine. I appreciate your assistance. Thanks!

Hi Terri, Thank you for the question. I suggest replacing the Water Inlet Valve, Part Number: PS11746765. The valve can become stuck open and allow water to leak into the tub when the appliance is not in use. Hope this helps!

This is a Whirlpool top loader washing machine. It fills up with water but when the water gets to a certain level, it starts dripping water from the front right corner., There are no pipes in that area. After emptying the tub, no leak on the drum/pipes/pump could be found but there is some water on the back panel.

Hi Herman, thank you for reaching out. First, you may need to make sure the water inlet hose is properly attached to both the water inlet valve and the water inlet syphon. If that is not causing the issue, then you may need to check the water inlet valve, part number PS557514, as it is most likely faulty. Let us know if you have further questions!
