Dryer wasn't heating sufficiently/consistently.
Removed front cover, removed old heating unit, installed new thermostat, heating coil inside the dryer and finally replaced the fuse in the front. The main complication was reaching the screws for the heating coil, not really complex.

My dryer does not dry.
For model number MDG7657BWQ

Hi Corrado, Thank you for your question. If your dryer is not drying, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the internal bias thermostat, the coils, the radiant flame sensor, the lint filter, the high limit thermostat and the baffles. You should also check the exhaust vent to see if it is clogged with lint. If so clean it out. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My dryer lights up and flashes (in order) everywhere, but the area where you set the time to dry.
For model number NDG6800AWW
PartSelect logo
Hi Allan, Thank you for your question. If the control panel is lighting up every where but where you set the time to dry, check the connections between the control panel, part number PS2200127, and the electronic control board, part number, PS2036598. If the connections are fine, the issue may be with the control panel, part number or the electronic control board. You will need to test the control panel with a multi-meter and for the electronic control board, you will need to inspect it visually for signs of damage or burn marks. If the electronic control board is causing the issue, it has been discontinued and you will need to contact Whirlpool for information on a replacement or you will need to try the following: Using a search engine to type your part number and see if other retailers still have this part in stock. Visiting online stores such as eBay and finding sellers that have this part. Trying retailers and repair stores in your local area to see if they have the part in their inventory. Talking to a local repair technician, who may have the part you need, or may be able to repair your existing part. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day.

How to check if fuse is bad
For model number Mde3000ayw
PartSelect logo
Hello Robert, thank you for writing. You can test it with a multi-meter. If the reading is 'infinite', then the fuse is blown and needs to be replaced. This is the correct replacement for your model. We hope this helps.

I just replaced my drive motor and it will not start. Right now I am trying to find exactly which part I will need to replace. Before I had the drive motor replaced, the dryer was making a loud humming noise in the last two weeks before I wasn't able to start it up. The door can close fine and it is tight when closed. Do you have a clue which part it might need to be replaced?
For model number MDE9206AYW

Hello Steven, Thank you for the question. I suggest checking the Door Switch Kit, PartSelect Number PS1964648. You can test it with a multi meter to check for continuity. Hope this helps!
