So i fix appliances but it's been a while since i have and a friend of mine called me saying it smelled like something was burning on his dryer. I take a look at it and his i think it's a ground wire coming from his power cord to the dryer terminal block is completely fried. So much so that i barely touched it and it just came off the terminal block the screw and all. So obviously he needs a new terminal block but my question is on the wiring diagram it shows an l1 on the left side n in the middle and then l2 on the right side but i didn't see any ground wire. And on his dryer the wire on the right side which has Green insulation around it usually indicating it's a ground wire is the one that is burnt. Am i wrong about that wire being a ground wire or is his dryer wired incorrectly?

Hi Kati, sadly I don't have much information beyond the diagram you see. The full wiring information "15002677" is discontinued. I would try contacting the manufacturer and see if they are able to send this to you. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!
