Temp is good. Problem is the condenser and evaporator fans are cutting off for a few seconds then come on for a few seconds then cut off. This is all day long. On and off every few seconds. It started last week with them going off and coming right back on about every hour. Now its all the time. Never on for more than a minute. Control board?
For model number KSCS25FTSS02

Hi Loretta,
Thank you for your question. If the fans keep cycling on and off, then the issue could be with the electronic control board and you will need to test it with a multimeter to verify if it is working correctly. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My refrigerator is continuously cycling on and off. Like on for 10-20 seconds, then off, then on again...etc.i had it looked at and without too much measuring, the technician told me i needed a new control board. told me that it is discontinued. does that make sense?
For model number KSCS25INSS01

Hi Rich,
Thank you for your question. The electronic control board, part number W10219463, may fix this issue. It has been discontinued by Whirlpool and you will need to contact them for information on a replacement part. Their telephone number is 1-866-698-2538. If they provide you with a part number for the part, you may call us back with it and we can verify if we have it available for you. You should also check the compressor and the inverter board. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

When installing the control board with a new control board , is there any special process or just unplug it and plug it back in ?
For model number WP2307037

Hello Bobby, thank you for contacting us. This is a plug and play process. Just unplug/remove the old one and install/plug in the new one, turn the power back on and you are good to go. Hope this helps!

I have an ongoing problem where the refrigerator is working fine, then it shuts off and the damper that feeds cold air from the freezer section to the refrigerator section makes a sort of buzzing or vibration sound twice, then i hear 2 beeps coming from the bottom of the refrigerator and it just keeps doing that very same sound and sequence. In the meantime, it’s not running really, the condenser fan is off, compressor is off, lights are on and the electronic display is fine as well. So what i have to is “reset” the electronic temperature control display by pressing the holiday mode button and on/off button at the same time for 10 seconds or so and then i hear the fan come on, compressor kicks on and will operate fine for a couple of days and now this even5 is happening more frequently. I have a video of it if will help you see it fir yourself. I am thinking that the electronic control board is an issue bu5 not sure.
For model number KSCS25INSS00

Hello Edward, thank you for your question. From the description of your issue it does sound like the board behind the controls is failing. We would recommend replacing the Part #: PS11740291, electronic board. I hope this helps!

I set my freezer to (0) and refrigerator to (37); shortly thereafter the numbers changes to something else. What is the problem?
For model number GC5NHAXSQ02

Hello L, thank you for your question. We would recommend unplugging the unit and leaving it for about 5 minutes to see if that resets the unit. If that doesn't work, there could be a problem with the temperature sensor (thermistor) PartSelect Number: PS11739132, electronic board Part #: PS11740291 and defrost thermostat PartSelect Number: PS11750673 and heater PartSelect Number: PS11739692. I hope this helps!

How to open plastic cover to replace small base light sockets. Both lights burned out and new ones still don't work. Door switch working.
For model number KSBS25INSS02

Hi Mel,
Thank you for your inquiry. There should be a couple of screws that are holding your light cover in place. Once you unscrew those you should be able to pop that part out of place to expose the light bulb and light socket. After that, the socket just clips in and out of place. Good luck with your repair.

My KitchenAid refrigerator kscs23inss01 is not cooling at all (although the lights are on) and there is no display in the control box. I used multi meter and found there is only a very low voltage on the wires connected to the part wp2307037. How to check if the part wp2307037 is bad or not? What is the required input voltage for this part? Many thanks!
For model number WP2307037

Hi Steve, Thank you for the question. With the appliance plugged in allow it to enter the cooling cycle. While the refrigerator is in the cooling mode, the main control board voltages should be Red/White & Red Wires 3 To 6 Volts DC, Black & White Wires 120 Volts AC. Main Control Board P7-3 (Red) & P7-8 (Red/White) 3 To 6 Volts DC. Hope this helps!

Would this be the correct control board if the refrigerator is not running at all. Power is on to the fridge, temp displays state 70 and 70, water dispenser still working?
For model number KSCS25FTSS01

Hello Brian, thank you for your question. That board actually controls the evaporator and condenser fan motors, not the main controls of the unit. The board you are speaking of could be the main board Part #: PS2360723 which is the brains of the unit and controls most functions (this part has been discontinued), or the inverter board, PartSelect Number: PS8760019 which controls the compressor. I hope this helps.

Not getting the cold temp. If i unplug the power supply and plug it back for after a couple of minute, the beeping noise of compressor and fan can be heard also the control board lights get started on and off for one or two minutes. After few blinking, cold air gets started and fridge run for app. 30-40 minutes and then shuts off compressor and fan but lights are on. Technician told me to buy a new control board but he also mentioned that because of this model discontinue, requires new wiring and plug. Please advise the right part number for control panel and if it requires the service kit also to replace it.
