Worked as a lite bulb should.
So "unbelievable" over priced with the purchase and shipping. I was ashamed. I could have, "lived with out it" or "took my chance with a night lite bulb".

Easy to replace.
The light works well. The only thing wrong with it is the price. It is very expensive.

Exactly what I needed!
The bulb came within a couple of days and is exactly what I needed for my dryer. Now we can see what's inside again! Not cheap, but worth getting a bulb made for the purpose -- that will withstand the heat of the dryer and hopefully last as long as the original.

Part worked well, over-priced delivery charge for a 2" light bulb
Part does the job... but the $10 delivery charge was hidden from the order/approval process... and just shown on the order confirmation -- a bit shaddy.

Hello Steve, Thank you for the review. The delivery fee is shown on the same page where you fill in your address and payment information before the order is placed. Hope this helps!

Dryer was sqeaking loudly when running
I Looked on internet sites for this type of problem.
Most sites said the support rollers could cause this.
I found your site PartSelect and with help of your diagrams of the machine ordered the parts I thought were needed plus other parts that might cause the problem.
With machine torn down I replaced the rollers.
I had also ordered the main drive belt and idler assembly with the rollers and these also needed replacement. It is a good idea to order other suspect parts when doing this type of repair since you can return the parts not needed.
Your return policy is great.

Squeeling on startup and intermittently during use
First, I read reviews on this forum. Great help! I was betting, from previous reviews, that it was a drum roller. I took everything apart prior to ordering any parts. Sure enough, one drum roller was seized on the roller shaft. Decided to replace all rotating parts (rollers, shafts, belt, idler pulley) while everything was apart. I also took the opportunity to clean out all of the lint (there was a lot) from the motor and intake.
Parts were on my doorstep in two days. The dryer is like brand new. I could do this job again in less than an hour. This was money and time well spent.

Dryer would stop running after several minutes. Once cooled it would start again. Motor worn out and binding.
Remove back cover
Raise top
Remove filter assembly
Remove front cover and drum
Tip: Use an end wrench on the fan and another on the pully shaft of the motor to remove fan from motor prior to removing motor from cradle.
Vacuum everything while disassembled
Remember to take your time and not force anything and this will go smooth.

Dryer working but drum light not working, bulb ok.
Problem: Drum light not working, bulb ok. Removed 6 screws on panel behind timer, light, buzzer, switches. Lifted back of dryer top then moved dryer top forward and off of dryer. The switch was located above the door. Unhooked wiring plug and took out 2 screws holding in the switch. Installed new switch and repaced bulb. Reassembled as needed and tested light by opening door. Works great.

burnt out bulb and broken switch
Both my husband and I are not good at DIY or fixing things. I watched the instruction video that was posted on the PartSelect web site. It seems easy to do it, however still very skeptical. My husband decided that there is nothing to lose in trying, so we ordered the parts. It is as easy and simple as the video instruction. We are very happy customers.

load banging noise when drun turns
removed front cover 2 lower screws. once front cover was off, the front drum support bracket was visable. removed 4 screws that hold that in. the drum is now loose and not supported in the front. pulled drive belt tensioner back to release belt. removed 2 top cover screws to get more vertical room to lift drum out. once drum was out, i used a snap ring plyers to take retainer ring off to remove damaged rear drum support rollers. replaced both rear rollers. also replaced drive belt and door lamp. the bearing in the left roller had seized and torn a big hole thru the roller . assembled in reverse order. now drum is nice and quiet

Door switch had broken off and interior bulb not working
I first checked the owner's manual an on line documentation from the manufacturer on how to change the door switch on the dryer but found nothing. First step: Turn off breaker to dryer. I then popped the lid of the dryer and could see that the switch was accessible from the top. I was pleasantly surprised to see the parts arrive within 2 days with the lowest cost standard shipment. I loosened the 2 screws holding the switch, unplugged the modular clip, replaced switch, resecured with screws and dropped dryer lid back in place. Interior bulb was busted up, I removed cover plate, base and broken glass, seated replacement bulb, reattached cover and turned breaker back on. Dryer switch and bulb are working again. You sent me exactly what I needed and fast. Thanks for the quick turn around!

noisy when running, squeeked at times, belt finally came off
First let me say I went on your forum and got instructions where to download a service manual which helped greatly. Unplugged from outlet. Removed 4 screws holding on the front panel then 4 more holding on the front tumbler support and air duct. Removed wires from light and dryness sensor and clips holding wires to panels. Pulled out the tumbler and removed belt. Removed the two drum support rollers and shafts by removing a nut on the back side of each shaft. Removed snap ring off each old shaft, installed new rollers and fiber washers onto new shafts installed snap ring and replaced on brackets with the old nut. Removed tension spring off idler pulley bracket and one screw holding on the bracket. Installed new pulley and fiber washers on new bracket and reinstalled bracket and spring. Placed new belt on tumber and reinstalled tumbler. Used drill and bit to drill out pop rivits holding on the two front glides that are attached on the front tumbler support and installed new glides and pop rivited in. Reinstalled
front support and air duct checking that felt tumbler seal front and rear were in place. Placed new belt on motor pulley and idler pulley. Reinstalled front panel. Removed bulb cover held on by one screw, Installed new light bulb. Also took shop vac and cleaned inside of cabinet when I had the tumber out. Plugged back in and started, sounds and works like new. Ordered parts on Sunday received Tuesday evening Fed Ex. First time dryer repair. Very happy with PartSelect web site and service.

Kenmore 70 series dryer. When door is opened the light doesn't come on and the dryer continues to spin until turned off manually at the timer switch. Now sure if these problems are related but they occurred at the same time. Thanks for your help.

Hi Roger, Thank you for the question. I suggest replacing the Door Switch Assembly,PartSelect Number PS11741700.A door switch is a simple on/off mechanism that prohibits the dryer from operating when the door is open.Hope this helps!

Dryer bulb burned out, opened door and saw a quick spark by the bulb and then the dryer failed. Could it be the bulb socket? I have removed it but can't locate the part number to replace it.
