dishwasher leaking
remove old seal, clean and dry the gap where the new seal will be installed. Apply adhessive, place new seal, then let dry for 24 hrs.

The hardest part was getting the seal, we first ordered from a sears parts store locally. They also told me that everything was included to install it, but they did not include the adhesive, they lost the order via ups and never notified me. I finally called them and they made me go back to the parts store for a refund. I then ordered on parts select and they had it in my hands in 3 days.

PartSelect Scammers
PartSelect intentionally shipped obsolete part that could not possibly fit a dishwasher. The part looked to be a rectangle door seal for a freezer/ref. You make it impossible to return the part. I find it interesting that you sent the correct install video and wrong part.
Suggestion: After you print a shipping label take a picture of the part and shipping label before it is boxed. The customer should not have to send you a picture of the wrong part and the serial number of the appliance for a refund. You did not need the serial number to ship it.

The interior gasket that seals the door and tub keeps coming loose. I typically have to push it back into the groove 1 or more times a week. Is there a caulk that I should use to keep it in place? Or does the gasket need to be replaced?
For model number 665.13693N412

Hello Steve, Thank you for the question. The seal should stay in place just by pushing it into the groves. It might be worn and need to be replaced if it is not staying in the groves. Hope this helps!

My KitchenAid dishwasher appears to be leaking (at least the drip is coming from the center behind the front door. I can see that a connector containing several wires behind the door appears to be wet when I look up from under the dishwasher using a mirror. Is this likely a seal or something else?
For model number KUDT03STBL3
PartSelect logo
Hello James, Thank you for the question. I suggest checking the seals around the door and across the bottom of the door. You can also open the door once the fill cycle is done and see if the water is over the element. If the water is above the element then the appliance is over filling. Hope this helps!

I'm looking for the tub seal. Kenmore site says part number is w10864081, however, your list of models it fits does not reference my model.
For model number 665.14743N510

How to uninstall the dishwasher
For model number 665.13922K010
PartSelect logo
Hi Eloy, Thank you for your question. To remove the dishwasher from the cabinet, first unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet. Also shut off the water supply valve. Then remove the screws securing the lower access panel and set the panel aside. Disconnect the water supply line from the inlet valve and be prepared for some water to spill out. Remove the the screw securing the junction box cover. Note the orientation of the wires on the terminal block and loosen the screws to release the wires. Remove the screws securing the bracket. Use a flat head screw driver to release the nut from the bracket, then disconnect the drain hose and feed it through the cabinet. Once you have completed these steps, open the dishwasher door and release the mounting screws securing dishwasher to the cabinet. To remove the dishwasher, you may need to remove the levelling legs locking screws. Once removed, you can pull the dishwasher from the cabinet. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day.

Can you tell me what the length of the door gasket is? I ordered one from repair clinic and they sent me a w11196317 replacement that is 74 inches in length the original is 76 inches in length. They told me to soak it in hot water which doesn't seem like it will stretch 2 inches to cover bottom of dishwasher. The KitchenAid part # is 8269110.

Hello Doug, Thank you for the question. Since they are both used to prevent leaking, I would suggest checking the seal and gasket on the appliance for wear or damage and replace what is required. hope this helps!

Kaiser
November 15, 2017
Hello, I have a Maytag dishwasher (silver color, model: Mdb8969sdm3, ser # f54911518, type # 577 1). I normally run it at auto cycle, heating, and it takes between 2 3 hrs to complete. Of late I have been noticing water droplet condensation towards upper left under kitchen counter top (above the door of the dish washer) during the cycle. These water droplets fall down and form a pool that is spoiling the hard wood flooring of the kitchen close to the kitchen cabinet adjacent to the dish washer. This dishwasher has no vents on the door top that could facilitate heat condensation to dissipate. I assume this could be a gasket problem, but there are two gaskets in the dishwasher, inner and outer one. The inner one probably seals the inner part (extended portion towards washer) of the door and the outer one probably seals the little outer part of the door. Please let me know if the above could be a possible reason. This dishwasher is from previous home owners who retained it for us. It also displays 10 years limited parts warranty on the door. Looking forward to your help, thanks.
For model number MDB8969SDM3
PartSelect logo
Hi Kaiser, Thank you for the question. As far as the warranty goes you will need to contact Maytag. It will be best to inspect the gaskets to check for any wear or damage. The most likely cause is the gasket that attaches tot he door, PartSelect Number PS11722167. I also suggest checking to make sure the door is latched properly. If the latch is not holding the door closed it can cause the leak as well.Hope this helps!
