Lower rack wheel was melted
Unsnapped clip, and moved it 90 degrees. Slip wheel and clip off. Installed clip on new wheel. replaced new wheel. The wheel did not come with a new clip and was not suggested on the parts list. The existing clip was still OK but if it was not, I would have had to order a clip and wait. All in all, a good experience.

The rear wheels were missing on the lower rack.
The wheels came with a clip on part that clipped to the rack and the wheel snapped into that clip. I am a woman and it was easy for me to do. Thanks to Parts Select for being an easy to use and navigate site, for quick shipment and for good directions with the parts. Sincerely, Teresa from Alabama.

Worn/broken plastic parts were causing misery
Order arrived two days after being placed. Super easy to remove the old, worn, broken plastic parts and replace with new. Everything popped right on just as shown in the diagram. Our happiness with our dishwasher has increased 100%. BTW, thanks to the very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff at PartSelect.com -- next job, replace the ice maker in the freezer!

The stud assembly in the middle of each wheel no longer stayed inside the wheel.
Just pulled off the old wheel. I just had to push in the stud to the wheel and pushed it on to the rack of the dishwasher. Very easy repair! Only disappointing part was that it bothered me to have to purchase the stud with the wheel. I was told they only came as the set. I only needed to purchase that inside stud. My wheels were fine.

...on the lower rack of the dishwasher. I simply snapped the pieces together and then snapped them into place. No tools necessary other than my own two hands (and the scissors I used to cut open the package!)

wheel axles are defective - wheels fall off
The part indicated here is a new design to replace a defective part that fails to keep the wheels on the lower dish rack. So far, the new axles work fine. Removal/Replacement couldn't be easier - it is helpful to use needle-nose pliers to get the old axles out. The new ones just snap in. Wheels stay on just fine. The rack is designed to roll on 8 total wheels, 4 on each side.

Lower Tray wheels keep falling off and wobbly. Was a source of daily distress and complaining
We considered buying a new lower rack for the dishwasher which we were told was a new dishwasher when we took over the house. The wheels were constantly falling off when sliding out the tray. They wobbled as well. With the weight of dishes in the rack and malfunctioning wheels, it was a disaster! We found your site on the internet and instead of a new rack we decided to order a whole new set of 8 wheels and axle roller studs. Installation was easy. It's like having a new dishwasher! Tray rolls in/out effortlessly. Great solution for the prices, fast delivery. Everybody is happy! Thanks.

I need to change all the rollers and axels on my bottom rack according to my neighbor but I don’t know how many rollers there are supposed to be on the bottom rack and I don’t know how many “kits” I need to order. Pls help
PartSelect logo
Hello Darleen, no problem, we can help! On the lower dishrack in your dishwasher there are 4 rollers on each side, bringing the total rollers or wheels up to 8. Each wheel/roller also needs an axel. This kit comes with 8 rollers and 8 axels. That means you should order only one of these kits if you wish to replace all the rollers and axels on your lower dishrack. I hope this helped.

I purchased this kit for the lower rack on my dishwasher (GE) as you suggested and the axels are different then the ones on my dw. The ones on my dw snap in on the side at an angle but the new ones fit straight onto the rack. Will these ones still work? Thanks
PartSelect logo
Hi Terry, the studs in the lower rack wheel kit WD35X21038 were redesigned by the manufacturer. They may look different but they are compatible with your model, and will work for your lower dishrack. Best of luck with this repair!

I do not understand hwo to attach the wheel to it the axel and to attach the axel to the dishwasher. Help?!
PartSelect logo
Hi Cory, great question! On your lower dishrack, you have 8 wheels/rollers and 8 axels. The axels are inserted into the wheels/rollers. Once the wheel is stable and attached, the other end of the axel fastens onto the lower dishrack. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

I need some help deciding between this wheel pack kit and the single wheel part number: Ps259136 when i only need one wheel at this time. Other wheels are loose and often come off when sliding lower rack in and out of dishwasher. Are the wheels in this kit equal in size to the single wheel?
For model number GSC3200G00WW
PartSelect logo
Hi Edward, Thank you for your question. The wheels in the kit are the same size as the wheel that is sold individually. They would both work with your lower dishrack. So it just depends if you want to buy a package of them or just singular parts. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Why does the bottom rack crash when opening?
For model number GLD4260L00SS
PartSelect logo
Hi Helen, Thank you for your inquiry. The rack may not be secured to the track correctly. There should be no crashing when you open the door. I would check to make sure it is secure on the track and to see if there is any issue with the rack as well. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

I recently purchased a home with a Kenmore elite ultra wash dishwasher. There are two model #s on the use & care guide (listed above). Most of the wheels from the bottom rack are missing. I need a replacement wheel set, but couldn't find anything to match the model #s on my documentation. Please recommend the proper parts.
