Kitchenaid range code f6e1 fault.
Part was recieved in a timely manner and install was easy. However, no fault of the part, it didn't fix the problem, so on to the next step. Which is more expensive, of course.

Easy repair.
Six screws to remove and less than five minutes. It took longer to move the stove (and clean underneath it) than it did to complete the repair.

Oven would heat up very slowly and not reach more than 325 *F
I purchased all the likely suspects. It was a corroded lower heating element that was faulty. Fixed the burnt out light bulb for good measure while I was in there.
Oven temperature was WAY off, sometimes 50 degrees.
Turned the breaker off. Removed the racks, pulled the oven out and removed the back. Disconnected and unscrewed the old sensor from the back, connected and screwed in the new one. Returned the racks and slid the oven back in.
The only remotely challenging part was disconnecting the old sensor. I had to figure out where to press with the flat screwdriver to get it to release.
I had found a good YouTube video and didn't use the app.

Starts to heat but not reaching the temperature to bake. Is it the safety thermostat: Wp3196548 Or the sensor: W10833885
For model number YWFE715H0EE0
Hello Penny, Thank you for the question. I suggest testing the Sensor. At 70 degrees the resistance should be 9.3K ohms, 90 degrees would be 7.7K ohms. at 100 degrees would be 6.2K ohms, and 120 degrees would be 4.3K ohms. If the thermistor reads outside of range then it needs replaced. Hope this helps!

Hello, the temperature of the oven takes a very long time to increase to 350 degrees and the control board does not show the temperature when it lowers in the oven. Should I replace the sensor and what is the ohm reading I should read to see if it is defective. If I order a part and it is not correcting the problem, can I return it for a refund.
For model number kseg950ess1
Hi Bernard,
Thank you for your question. If the oven is not heating correctly, the issue may be with the oven sensor. The oven temperature sensor is the part that monitors the oven temperature and signals the electronic control board to turn the elements on and off. Before removing this part from the oven and testing it with a multimeter for continuity, unplug the oven from the electrical outlet. A normal reading should be 1100 ohms, but as readings vary from model to model, you will need to reference your owner’s manual to determine what the correct reading should be. To test it for continuity, use a multimeter on the Rx1 setting and touch the terminals with the probes. This test needs to be done with the sensor at room temperature to produce accurate results. If your test results do not meet the manufacturer’s guidelines, you need a replacement temperature sensor. If the sensor is fine, you will need to check the elements, the electronic control board and the wiring between the parts to see which one is causing the issue. We hope this helps with the repair!
The safety thermostat doesn't make sense. The temp is too low at a wide range of settings. At 350 it might be 320, at 450 it might be below 400. I'd hoped the new sensor would fix this.
That bake element is incorrect for my oven. I've already replaced the heating element / convection fan.
The control board is $600+ so I don't want to put out that kind of money and that not fix it either!
For model number Kitchenaid KSDB900ESS0
Hi Sarah, thank you for contacting us. If your safety thermostat is shutting down at a lower temperature than usual, it means your temperature sensor, part number PS11726314, is not giving the right command to the control board. Replacing the sensor seems like a solution in this case. We hope this solves your problem!

Smell raw gas every time turning the oven on and the heat seems to be not strong and it takes a long time when on bake selection
For model number KSGG700ESS1 KitchenAid Stove
Hello Frank, thank you for your inquiry. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest you check the oven bake igniter, part number PS11752876. When the glowing igniter gets weak, it does not provide the right amount of current to the gas valve. This causes the igniter to only open slowly, thus allowing gas to escape and no ignition to occur in the first seconds. With a new igniter in place, the oven should ignite during the first 15–30 seconds, and there should be no gas smell. We hope this is helpful!
I've replaced the sensor with this one and the oven temperature is still often significantly below the reading, though on occasion it is correct.
I use two oven thermometers to confirm the actual temperature. Plus, you can feel when it's 40+ degrees cooler.
Any suggestions?
For model number Kitchenaid KSDB900ESS0
Hello Sarah, thank you for your inquiry. To fix this issue, the following parts need to be checked: the safety thermostat, part number PS11740991, and the bake element, part number PS11703285. If the issue still exists, then you may need to check the electronic control board, part number PS12074595. We hope this sorts out your problem!
Problem with oven is that originally turns on when the flames goes away it doesn't comes back it give a clicking sound as if it want to come back

The oven is very slow on pre-heat. Using a thermal gun to check the temp it shows a much higher temp in the oven than what the readout on the control panel shows. Would the sensor in the oven be the problem? Ps things will burn when we cook at recommended temp and time.
For model number WFG515S0EW0
Hi Dean, Thank you for the question. I suggest testing the sensor. Testing the temperature sensor probe on your oven is easy. With the sensor at room temperature, measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. The resistance of the sensor should read approximately 1080 – 1090 ohms at room temperature. Hope this helps!
