As washer is filling wjth water it is also draining the water at the same time
For model number WFW560CHW0
Hi Bruce, thank you for reaching out. We have researched and found that you may need to check the following to fix the issue:
1- Make sure that the house drain pipe is at least 30 inches high. If so, check to make sure the drain hose is not pushed too far down into the drain. No more than 5 to 7 inches of the drain hose should be down into the drain pipe. There must be an air gap around the drain hose. A snug fit can cause a siphoning action.
2- If the house drain is not at least 30 inches high, a drain hose clip is included in the installation package. It attaches to the drain hose and then onto the back of the washer. This lifts the drain hose up to a proper height to prevent siphoning.
If the issue still exists, then you may need to check the washer control board, part number PS12711806, and replace it if necessary. We hope this solves your problem!
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
Everything worked perfectly---thanks to the suggestion of your call center agent. She suggested that since the replacement door handles were no longer available, I should consider repainting them--it worked like a charm. Please tell her she was a life saver. We rent that house in Fl and my returning tenants had complained about the discoloring refer handles. Thank you
Replaced the Whirlpool washer water inlet valve. 1. Unplug washer 2. Close Hot and Cold water valves 3. Remove top cover of the machine by taking out 3 screws in the top back. Slide top back and remove. 4. Water Inlet Valve is located on the back left side, remove tubing using a nutdriver to loosen the hose clamps. 5. Water Inlet Valve is removed by removing the screw in the back of the valve and turning the valve clockwise a little. Replace with the new one, connect hoses, put cover back on, open valves, plug it in. 6. Ran washer and Fabric Softener dispenser now works
