Hi! I hope you can help bc i love my fridge!!!!! i found water pooling at the bottom right side interior. no water outside the fridge. the drain inside is not blocked. there is also a smell that is still there after all food was removed and interior was cleaned. thanks for any assistance. --barbara

Thank you for your question. Usually if there is water pooling at the bottom of the refrigerator, the issue is a clogged drain pipe. If the drain pipe is not clogged, check to see if anything has spilled recently inside the refrigerator. If there is a smell coming from the refrigerator, it may be coming from the drain pan under the refrigerator. You will need to inspect and clean the drain pan if it is dirty. You should also give the inside of the refrigerator a good cleaning and place a fresh box of baking soda inside. We hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let us know.
My stand alone fridge all of a sudden stopped. Cooling. I noticed a few times when I knocked on the panel where I could here the fans and compressor kick on. After a few times it stopped. I hired an appliance company to come out and he diagnosed it to the temperature thermostat control module. I bought one off Amazon which I the same as yours but not regardless of I set to #1 or 7 on the dial it freezes everything. Will your module be any different and or do I need something else other than that?
I also replaced the defrost timer and the defrost thermostat.

If the temperature control thermostat you ordered was the one listed for your refrigerator, the it should be the correct part and the temperature control thermostat that we would provide would be the same part. You may have received a defective part or another part in the refrigerator is causing the issue. You will need to check the temperature control module to see if it is working correctly. If it is not, you will need to replace it. You should also check the evaporator fan motor, the condenser fan motor, the evaporator and the run capacitor. Hi James, thank you for the question. When the refrigerator defrost, water drains down through a defrost tube into a drain pan and eventually evaporates. If the defrost drain tube is clogged with ice or gunk, the water can not drain down the tube. Instead, it collects in a puddle under the drawers or leaks from the door. Clearing the drain tube usually fixes the problem. Replace the drain pipe, part number PS12364877, if it is damaged or you can not clear a clog. We hope that helps!
When cleaning the coils on your refrigerator always remember rule number 1, unplug it first. I was cleaning the coils and hit the fan blade while it was moving with a brush, thus breaking off one of the fan blades. I ordered a new fan and installed it in about 15 minutes. Very easy repair.
The repair didn't require any tools at all. Just simply slide the new glass shelf carefully into the the frame and while holding it horizontally slide the frame back into the rails. This took less than a minute to accomplish. Very satisfied with the results.
After silencing the alarm, it seemed to be running as normal without any unusual noises, but food was starting to thaw from the top shelf on down and condensation was dripping from the roof. We were able to place most of the food in 2 large ice chests and then the rest in the freezer compartments of 2 fridges we have in the house. I then turned down the temp dial to the coldest setting and let it run for an hour or so; no change.
After researching on the internet, it sounded like our symptoms could be pointing to a defrost timer issue. I pulled the freezer away from the wall, located the timer and used a large screwdriver to slowly advance it. While doing this, at one point I could hear the compressor kick in. I pushed the quick freeze button and let it run for a while. When I checked it in a few hours, the alarm light had gone out and water that I had placed inside was frozen. We took a chance and put the food we placed in the ice chests back in the freezer. Everything was fine several hours later.
I ordered a new defrost timer, it arrived in a couple of days, and replaced the old one with it in a matter of minutes by disconnecting the wire harness from the old timer, removing the 2 screws holding it onto the bracket, screwing the new timer to the bracket, reconnecting the wires harness, and done. It's been a week or so and no problems.
