Need to know if and where there is an off switch to completely turn it off
For model number GDF530PGM0BB
Hi Gloria, thank you for getting in touch. Based on our research, your model does not come with a switch to turn the dishwasher on or off. The dishwasher can only be started or stopped through the control panel, part number PS12703075, by unplugging it at the outlet or turning the wall switch on and off. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance!

i have a code 7 i have replaced the turbidity sensor that has temp sensor
For model number GDF530PGM0BB
Hi Tony, thank you for getting in touch. The error code indicates that the dishwasher's water temperature sensor circuit has become inoperative. If you have already replaced the turbidity sensor assembly, you may need to check the main control board, part number PS16873737, as it is most likely faulty. We hope this helps!

My dishwasher has been randomly turning on and off (Like completely Dead). I have unplugged the Dishwasher for about 15min and it turned on like a charm. The issue I have noticed is that the wash will randomly restart mid cycle. Usually after 10min into the wash. At this point I have not replaced the door switch.
Trouble Shooting Steps I have attempted:
*Unplugging the Machine for 15min

Hello Dameion, thank you for contacting us. The issue is most probably related to the door latch, part number PS6447681, the control board fuse, part number PS12743197, and/or the control board, part number PS16226072. You can inspect these parts with a multimeter to diagnose the fault. Please reach out to customer service if you need help placing an order. Glad to be of help!
Dishwasher lost power. No lights come on.
Power to the unit has been verified.
Just stopped working mid cycle.

Hello Patrick, thank you for reaching out. The problem seems to be with the Control Board Fuse, we would recommend checking it, the part number is PS12743197. The Control Board Fuse shuts the dishwasher off if the dishwasher shorts out or overheats. If that does not help, we would recommend checking the Door Latch, part number PS6447681, and Control Board, part number PS16762511. Please reach out to customer service if you need help placing an order, anyone will be happy to assist you. We hope that helps.
why does washer come on and go off by itself (control panel lights up) when not in use?
For model number GDF530PGM0BB
Hello Mark, thank you for contacting us. We would recommend testing the UI board, part number PS16762511, and the control board, part number PS16226072, with a multimeter. These are the most likely culprits of the issue. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you require assistance placing an order. Thanks again for reaching out!

Took off the kickplate, diconnected the wires and removed the whole door by lifting straight up, removing spring wires from hinges. Once door is disconnected from the machine, removed one hinge by removing bolt. Slid gasket into place, secured hinge back in place, then reconnected wires at bottom, replaced hinge spring wires and slid door back down onto hinges. Now that we know how to do it, could do it in 15 min to half hour.
This didn't work out well. At the beginning of September the control panel in the door started to work erratically, the lighted buttons did not light up as expected. I ordered a replacement board and installed it. CONFIGURED UI SERVICE CONTROL Part #: PS16618944 This did not help, so I ordered another control board and installed it. CONFIGURED SERVICE MACHINE CONTROL BOARD Part #: PS16226072. This did not help. This control board has a small orange fuse that looks like an old fashioned transistor. it was fine, as was the fuse on the previous control board. There were two things about the Control boards that might help someone figure out what went wrong. When I took out the original control board, there was evidence of component overheating. When I installed the new control board there was a green light that was blinking. I had hoped to complete this repair, but we have been without a dishwasher for over a month, so I bought a new one. (I am a competent Instrumentation and Controls technician) It could be that there is a bigger issue here; a major component failure. If anyone has some suggestions to try, I would like to repair the machine and sell it as a used appliance.
1. Turn off breaker supplying power to dishwasher in electrical panel 2. Open dishwasher door 3. Unscrew the screws that secure the dishwasher to the counter. 4. Tip dishwasher forward. Identify the non-functioning door latch. It looks exactly like the replacement. Unclip the wire harness from the door latch. 5. On the inside of the dishwasher, there are 2 screws directly under the door latch. Unscrew them and carefully set aside. 6. Remove old door latch. 7. Set new door latch in place. Holding securely, replace screws removed in step 5. Toward the end they get a little tougher to screw in. 8. Plug wire harness into new door latch. 9. Re-align dishwasher and re-secure to counter in previous position. 10. Test latch to make sure it closes properly. 11. Turn on breaker in electrical panel. The dishwasher should now function properly.
