Step #1: Use the guide below to find your washer model number

Front Loading Washer

  • 1
    On the inside of the door
  • 2
    On the door frame
  • 3
    On the front exterior of the unit
  • 4
    On either side of the exterior
  • 5
    On the back exterior of the unit

Top Loading Washer

  • 1
    Under the lid on the frame
  • 2
    Under the lid along the back of the tub opening
  • 3
    Inside the washer lid
  • 4
    On the control panel
  • 5
    On the front of the exterior
  • 6
    On an inside wall
  • 7
    On either side of the exterior
  • 8
    The back of the exterior

Washer-dryer Combo

  • 1
    At the top of the unit in the front
  • 2
    On the inside of the dryer door
  • 3
    On the door frame
  • 4
    Under the washer lid (inside the door on front-loading washers)
  • 5
    On either side of the exterior, at the base of the unit

Sample Model Number Tags

Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
