Quality Assurance (QA) and Project Coordinator

PartSelect has an opportunity for an ideal candidate in a new position - Quality Assurance and Project Coordinator. The Coordinator will work directly with the development team and project stakeholders to set up projects and features and manage the QA process.

Quality Assurance (QA) coordination duties include:

  • Manage our QA testing system (testuff)
  • Develop new and improve existing QA tests and scenarios
  • Assign QA tests to our internal ad hoc testing teams made up of CSRs and members from marketing and dev
  • Create and manage tickets resulting from QA testing
  • Manage our automated QA tools (URL tester, for example)
  • Perform initial QA tests before passing to stakeholders for final review
  • Update QA tests for new features
  • Manage system docs and ensure they are updated as new features are implemented

Project coordination duties include:

  • Ticket management - triage all trouble tickets from internal users and verify them
  • Create projects and feature tickets in our project management system
  • Ensure projects have testing plans to measure outcomes and deliverables
  • Manage stakeholder sign-off and review
  • Track project progress and ETAs
  • Liaise with project stakeholders to ensure requirements are captured and to update them on progress

Key attributes:

To succeed at this position the candidate must be highly organized and have strong attention to detail. PartSelect is a fast paced environment and the Coordinator will be responsible for tracking dozens of open projects and active bug tickets. The Coordinator needs to not just be able to organize activity from a large group on many issues, but to thrive on it.

Experience with Quality Assurance or web development is an asset but not required.
